My healthy spin on the whipped coffee craze!

I love my coffee just as much as the next person! When I kept seeing the whipped coffee recipes I kept saying I need to try it out but need to find a healthy alternative for the sugar.

Here is my healthy spin on the whipped coffee craze:

Single serve recipe:

1/2 tablespoon of instant coffee

1/2 tablespoon of truvia sweetener

1/2 tablespoon of hot water

8 ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (warmed up)

1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (I use Visalus)

Step 1

Add the instant coffee, stevia, and hot water to a glass bowl and begin whipping with whisk. Whisk until you start getting peaks in the mixture (about 4-5 minutes)

Step 2

Set the whipped topping aside and warm your almond milk either with use of microwave or stovetop. Once warmed pour almond milk into your blender and add your desired protein powder and blend. I use my magic bullet. Once blended you can take your whipped topping and add to your blender cup to drink from that or pour your milk and protein liquid into your favorite coffee mug and add whipped topping on top of that liquid.

You can drink with whipped topping on top (which is strong) or feel free to stir the whipped topping into the liquid. Whichever you prefer!
